Let’s talk about ME!
With knowledge gathered from developing products for fashion, and empowered by influencers, I entered the market of t-shirt retail. Influencer picks were lookboards I used for inspiration. But I struggled. Finally when an influencer with a following of 2 million failed to sell even 36 t-shirts I closed shop as I had followed her design direction. It appears her feed and the t-shirts she promoted did not have a similar aesthetic. I had not made the time to relate to her “followers'', and therefore had not picked up on this. The “hows” of building a persona lead me to UX.
Why UX
Why UI
Barkha was applying the business model of small batch sales at the farmers market to a full service food preparation and delivery business. With competitive research and user interviews I helped her narrow her product line to one. However, I built her a cookie cutter website, the color, font and images choices were random - and so I pursued UI design.
UX and ME - US
UX is the perfect union of my love for people, stories, and people-centered design; and it prominently features the possibility to do good in the world. I have worked on projects that are oriented towards making the world just a tiny bit better and I hope my work won’t just move people, but will be a tool to change their lives in a lasting way.
